v1.14.8 August 21, 2026
  • Reliability fix for automated add-to-cart testing — resolves a version-mismatch bug that caused GA4 add-to-cart trigger tests to fail outright, plus preventive tooling so the same class of bug can't silently recur. No client-facing feature changes this release.
v1.14.7 August 17, 2026
  • More accurate ad-platform tracking verification — the automated add-to-cart check now confirms your Google Ads, GA4, and Facebook conversion events actually reached each platform with the right event data, not just that some request was sent. Plus behind-the-scenes error tracking and release-process improvements.
v1.14.6 August 12, 2026
  • Calmer, more focused alert emails — behind-the-scenes tuning to how often you're emailed about ongoing issues. During a volatile stretch (active configuration changes, a site mid-redesign) you'll see meaningfully fewer repeat notifications, without losing any alert that actually matters. No action needed on your end.
v1.14.5 August 11, 2026
  • More reliable button-click testing. Pathway steps that check whether clicking a button works now verify both where the button is and what it says — so a test can no longer be silently fooled by a same-styled button in the wrong place on the page, a common issue on WordPress sites in particular.
v1.14.4 August 11, 2026
  • Continued reliability hardening of the automated testing pipeline — ten issues surfaced by an internal code review are fixed under the hood, including making sure the shipping-info tracking check actually verifies what it reports (not just that a page element exists), and tightening how test-run diagnostics are captured and stored. No client-facing feature changes this release.
v1.14.3 August 11, 2026
  • More trustworthy automated testing on the demo store — three monitoring checks that had drifted out of sync with a site redesign (a stale product target, a changed page selector, and a button that now legitimately appears twice) are all fixed and re-verified live.
  • A real ad-tracking data-quality fix found while auditing the demo store's Google Tag Manager setup — one shared trigger was causing every ecommerce action (viewing a product, adding to cart, etc.) to get mis-reported as every other kind of ecommerce event across five ad platforms (Google, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter/X, and Reddit). Now scoped correctly, and three of those platforms' pixels are wired to real product data instead of unfinished placeholder values.
v1.14.2 August 10, 2026
  • A more trustworthy Checkout Purchase test — the automated purchase-flow check that watches your store's checkout can no longer be fooled into reporting a false pass when something actually broke. It now verifies the real order-confirmation response and the exact contents of your purchase tracking event, not just whether some event fired.
v1.14.1 August 9, 2026
  • Two small display fixes — page content on Monitoring, Overview, and Configure now centers properly in the available space instead of hugging the side menu, and account admins can once again get back to the Executive Overview from a shared tracking-report page.
v1.14 August 9, 2026
  • A real incident history, not just a heatmap. Monitoring now leads with a 30-day incident timeline — every outage drawn at its true duration, so a quick five-minute blip and a multi-day outage finally look different from each other instead of painting the same red box.
  • Repeated or simultaneous failures on the same check are automatically grouped into one entry instead of flooding the timeline, with an expandable list of exactly what broke and when.
  • A new “Tracking Volatility” 7-day grid and a redesigned Stability card summarize the same history at a glance, and clicking any flagged item now jumps straight to its latest failing test.
  • A faster path to running tests — the Run Tests page now organizes checks into suite cards with instant search, so you can jump straight to re-running whatever you just fixed instead of hunting through a long list.
  • New: this Release Notes page — a running, searchable history of everything shipped to TrackingIsOnline, linked from the footer alongside a link to the live status page. Your account's footer always shows exactly which version you're running.
v1.13.1 August 8, 2026
  • Faster from alert to answer. Clicking a notification, toast, or an item in the “Pause Spend” card now takes you straight to the specific service, trigger, or pathway involved — with a brief highlight so you never lose track of which one — instead of leaving you to scroll and hunt for it.
  • Also closed a couple of access-control gaps behind the scenes: only your team's admins can now reach the tracking-report editing tools, and a service's monitoring type can no longer be silently mis-set by a stray edit.
v1.13 August 9, 2026
  • Alerts no longer flood when a service is flapping — both the notification bell/Activity Log and the pop-up toast now throttle repeated failures from an unstable service to one alert per 6 hours instead of a fresh one every few minutes.
  • Fixed a bug where a superadmin viewing a client's account as that client could see an empty, misleading notification bell.
  • Redesigned Executive Overview header — sync status and the Monitoring/Tracking Plan buttons now live in the hero card, and the notification bell now visually reflects the worst unread alert (a subtle color tint) so severity is visible at a glance without opening it.
v1.12.2 August 8, 2026
  • The sign-in page now points you to the rest of the site — About, FAQ, and Request a Demo links replace two links that previously went nowhere.
  • A cleaner, more polished sign-in experience — the page background now runs edge-to-edge instead of sitting in a boxed frame, error/status messages read more clearly inside the sign-in card, and buttons throughout the app now share a slightly crisper, more consistent corner radius.
v1.12.1 August 8, 2026
  • A new public status page feed — the marketing site can now show live, real-time uptime for the app (dashboard, database, background monitoring jobs, and Google API connectivity), including correctly reporting an outage even if the app server itself goes down.
v1.12 August 5, 2026
  • A more consistent, polished interface — buttons, colors, and components across the app now follow one documented system instead of drifting per-page, with a highlighted “gold” color now reserved for actions that need special attention rather than used decoratively.
  • A clearer path to get started — new accounts are now guided to upload their Google Tag Manager export (the way most clients actually set up tracking) with a redesigned, working drag-and-drop uploader, instead of being pointed at a more technical API setup by default.
  • Fixed a display bug in the conversion pathway builder where choosing a ready-made template (like Product Purchase or Lead Generation) could show garbled leftover text on the page.
v1.11.1 July 29, 2026
  • Fixed a display bug where the privacy-compliance grade badges on the Executive Overview's “View Tracking Plan” button were nearly invisible and didn't show failing grades in red.
  • Patched a security vulnerability in a Rails component the same day it was publicly disclosed — no customer action needed.
v1.11 July 28, 2026
  • A redesigned Executive Overview that leads with the decision that matters. The top of your dashboard now states plainly whether to pause spend — Stop Marketing, Fix in Flight, or Quality of Life — instead of raw counts, and leads with a new Ad Spend Protected figure showing the ad budget your team has kept attributable this year.
  • Alerts now read in plain business language instead of a raw activity log.
  • We also refreshed the in-page navigation on Monitoring, the Overview, and Configure with a cleaner, space-saving hover menu, and fixed a couple of small display bugs along the way.
v1.10.1 July 28, 2026
  • Clearer wording on the monitoring header's spend-pause verdict — now states plainly how many critical issues were found instead of a wordier ratio.
v1.10 July 28, 2026
  • A clearer read on whether to pause your ad spend. The top of your monitoring dashboard now leads with the one question that matters — is anything business-critical broken right now — instead of raw pass/fail counts, and tells you exactly what to do about it: Pause Spend, Minor Spend Risk, or Ad Spend Safe, with the specific broken services, pathways, or triggers named right there.
  • You can now mark which services and conversion pathways are business-critical, the same way you already could for triggers, so this call is grounded in what actually matters to your account.
v1.9.2 July 27, 2026
  • Cleaner status callouts — the “needs attention” panels on monitoring cards (never tested, gated, current issue, validation warning) now read as calm, quiet detail boxes instead of a heavy color block, matching the rest of the redesign's restrained direction.
v1.9.1 July 27, 2026
  • A clearer, more polished monitoring dashboard — status cards now use soft color washes and bigger, cleaner icons to make it easier to scan what's healthy, what needs attention, and what's failing at a glance, including a new hover explanation for validation warnings.
v1.9 July 26, 2026
  • A snappier, more consistent monitoring view — the uptime history chart no longer depends on a third-party charting library, fixing the flicker/re-animate bug on in-page navigation and tightening up label clipping, with the same at-a-glance color-coded history you're used to.
v1.8.1 July 26, 2026
  • Snappier navigation — jumping between sections on the monitoring and overview pages no longer makes the charts flicker and re-animate.
v1.8 July 25, 2026
  • The app now works beautifully on your phone. The whole experience — navigation, dashboards, configuration, test results, admin, and the shareable tracking-plan reports — is now fully responsive: a clean mobile menu, no more content running off the edge of the screen, data tables that reflow into easy-to-read cards, and larger, clearer labels.
  • Review your marketing tracking on the go, right from your phone.
v1.7.5 July 24, 2026
  • A smoother, clearer welcome for new sign-ins — people who sign in before their account is fully set up now get a friendly landing page (with a way to tell us what they need) instead of a blank screen, and pending accounts are reassured they haven't been lost.
  • Safer admin management — adding a platform administrator now requires that person to confirm by email before any access is granted, and removing one is guarded against mistakes; both parties are notified.
  • Plus routine dependency and security updates.
v1.7.4 July 23, 2026
  • You get alerted the moment someone from a prospect org signs in (a warm sales signal), can manage platform admins from the UI, and the GTM setup step reads clearly.
v1.7.3 July 23, 2026
  • Sign in with Google / Microsoft now works — with proper branded buttons.
v1.7.2 July 23, 2026
  • Returning sign-ins no longer show a confusing “pending approval” message.
v1.7.1 July 23, 2026
  • The prospect scanner now works on modern JavaScript sites — previously it errored out (blank “F”) on Next.js/React/SPA sites, which are exactly the ones you'd most want to prospect.
v1.7 July 23, 2026
  • A new prospecting tool — turn any company's URL into a shareable, branded report on what's broken or missing in their marketing tracking + cookie-consent, to open sales conversations.
  • Inbound “request help” inquiries and outbound prospects now live in one place, ready to work and export.
v1.6.2 July 22, 2026
  • More reliable, self-cleaning monitoring — no stale “outage” cards left behind after configuration changes, and steadier resource use on the monitoring host.
v1.6.1 July 22, 2026
  • Interface polish — a tidier version label in the footer.
v1.6 July 22, 2026
  • Cleaner, calmer alerts + more reliable monitoring. You get one clear summary per account each cycle instead of several scattered alerts — what changed leads, known issues are grouped, no repeat noise.
  • Plus a fix that ends sporadic false “outage” flags on Google Tag Manager checks, and behind-the-scenes efficiency / automated-testing improvements.
v1.5.2 July 22, 2026
  • Internal build-tracking improvement (no user-facing change).
v1.5.1 July 22, 2026
  • Interface polish — quicker access to tracking-access-key management and a clearer at-a-glance monitoring heatmap.
v1.5 July 21, 2026
  • Smarter alerts + self-serve access management. Flaky checks no longer spam you — repeat issues are muted with a clear “still watching, next update by ~X” note.
  • You can now view, verify, and remove your own Google Tag Manager access keys.
  • Plus improved automated testing for more dependable releases.
v1.4 July 20, 2026
  • Reliability fix so the live browser-based checks run consistently.
v1.3 July 20, 2026
  • Clearer monitoring status — a cleaner, more consistent read on what's healthy, what's broken, and what hasn't been checked yet.
v1.2 July 20, 2026
  • Reliability fix so monitoring runs consistently in production.
v1.1 July 20, 2026
  • Launch polish — public legal pages, more reliable monitoring in production, and a smoother onboarding experience.
v1.0 July 20, 2026
  • TrackingIsOnline goes live. Automated, always-on monitoring of your marketing tracking — Google Tag Manager, GA4, Google Ads, and pixels — plus your conversion pathways and tag triggers, with alerts the moment something breaks.
  • Onboard by importing your GTM container and get a graded Tracking Plan of what's covered and what's missing.
